Some sites offer free online registration while some require for a form to be filled out like when you are checking on real estate melbourne. You could download the games or you could also keep it online for memory concerns. There might also be a need for you to install flash players for some games would require this. You can just bookmark it for easy access.

There are also sites that would offer tips along the process of playing the game. While some are strategic, some are just too child-friendly games you could simply hover the mouse. The thing is that you are not able to get to the next level without winning over the opponent or gaining enough points. The levels would usually start from the mini-golf through the 18-hole. This would not only enhance your thinking skills but this would also extend your patience and concentration which is exactly the same with the actual game.

Golfing Lessons From Tiger

April 6, 2012 By Leave a Comment

Earning a net worth of approximately $100 million thus making him the highest paid athlete in the world, Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods is definitely the perfect trainer one could get for a golfing lesson. Now if you have been pushing up barbells all your life because you are so crazy over golf and interested in hiring Tiger but does not have that much funds to level up to his standards, then there is just one thing you could do; get to know the Tiger Par.

Just for you to know what separates Tiger from all the other golfers who have tried to try a technique one after another is to check on his personal shot. Below is an excerpt from an article posted this last February in Golfweek:

“I couldn’t get to the green in two. Sometimes it would take me five shots to get to the green, so my par was seven – five shots and two putts,” Woods said. “I started gaining confidence because on my good days I could shoot 5, 6, 7 under par. As I got older, I was comfortable shooting under par. Some guys have a governor when they start to get a certain amount under par and they start pulling back. But I didn’t. I felt very comfortable going low.”

Any golfer could choose to stay on getting scores by aiming at the hole but apparently, this technique is a clear manifestation of Tiger’s self-confidence and patience. This is what the other golfers don’t have. A strategy will only become effective if it would come along with your trust to your strategy and to yourself. There are desperate times that will call for desperate measure such as getting out of your way to achieve more but sticking to what you believe will help you do so.

A golfer’s target will always be the hole; however, holes could be on sight and could be not. When that happens, there is nothing else but your confidence to struck the ball and relive the Tiger Par.

Make the Best Experience Out of Golfing Schools

April 5, 2012 By Leave a Comment

Golf can be both a sport and a profession. Many people find it an interesting hobby while earning in the process. But others who have another calling just turn to golf as a form of relieving stress. Whatever the reason you are playing golf, you should learn to play it right – no excuses.

There are many ways in which people learn the sport of golf. It can be that a friend introduced him to the sport and taught him the fundamentals. It can also be that he attended golfing schools and had formal lessons and trainings. If you choose to go through schools and instructors, you should make the best out of your experience. Golfing lessons do not come cheap after all.

To avoid wasting a considerable amount of time and money, you can make things a little bit easier for you and your instructor. Though you would expect your instructor to search for your faults and weaknesses, it would be very helpful if you give him a head start. List down your strengths, recurring faults, and inconsistencies; share them to your instructor. This way, he would know firsthand where to look and what to improve.

During discussions, when you lose your way and you get too confused to comprehend, ask for a detailed explanation or clarification. Do not keep your questions to yourself as doing so means depriving yourself of a chance to grow and improve.

You should also expect to receive lots of constructive criticisms. Your instructors are there to help; therefore, that is exactly what they would do. To do so, they should point out your mistakes –swing, posture, handling, and help you correct them. You should be able to accept these critiques with open mind. You have to listen to understand.

Do not think of it as an embarrassing moment; take it as an opportunity to excel in the sport. It’s similar as your mom trying to change the kitchen designs in your home from time to time. You, as a family member want to help improve your home so you tell your mom whether or not something is good or not. The same thing goes when learning to play golf.

You have to understand that the more you can make your instructor understand the very purpose of being there, the more he would be able to help you achieve that goal. The more you open your mind to learning, the better you will become.

Which One Is Best For You, Professional Golf Schools or Individualized Instruction?

March 8, 2012 By Leave a Comment

Choosing a golf school can be very confusing because there are literally hundreds of schools offering golf classes. It’s like choosing a course from the long list of online courses for college. To avoid the hassle of looking for a reliable golf school, some people opt for one-on-one golf lessons.

With one-on-one lessons, you get to have individual instruction in a series of lessons. Your instructor will be able to focus on you and will be able to deliver instructions more clearly. Moreover, he will be able to assess you completely and find out whether or not you have been working on certain skills and techniques.

But if you are looking for a more fun way to learn golf, attending a golf school where you will be exposed in a group setting, will be better for you. It is also good for those who want to improve their golf play but are too busy for individual lessons.

Additionally, it allows you to receive lots of information all at once. The need for more frequent classes is decreased because more information is disseminated in one meeting. However, the ability to process this information is on your own shoulders.

Whichever way you choose, it is important that you have the commitment to learn and understand the physics of golf. If not, all those golf lessons would be for nothing.

Golfing Lessons: Chipping Tips

March 6, 2012 By Leave a Comment

Golf chipping is a type of shot utilized from a short range around the greens. Its goal is to let the ball travel in air at the least amount of time, land it safely on the green and let it roll towards the hole.

When chipping, remember that your hands should lead your swing. Ensure that your hands lead the clubface through impact with the ball. You should not bend or break your wrists. Breaking your wrists upon contact with the ball is done to create spin.

To improve your chipping skills, take a natural swing while keeping your hands and wrists locked and let the angle of the clubface and your swing lot the ball. You can also practice by using drills or exercises that would help you improve this skill.

You should perform this drill with grace in order for you to be able to produce a loft and quietly allow the ball to roll along the green and into the hole. But this does not mean that you should slow down your swing because you will end up making physical mistakes that will make your shot worse.

There are drills or exercises you can practice during your free time. Nothing beats constant practice after all. Aside from the usual stuff you learn from your golf teacher, practice helps you improve on your weaknesses.
